Shirley
“The Cats Mother”
Shirley started Alley Cats, way back in 1996. Although Shirley has now retired and sold Alley Cats to Georgie, the salon would not be the wonderful haven that it is without Shirley. Shirley no longer lives locally but does pop back in for treatments.
Elisha
“Never without her lashes.”
Elisha joined the alley cats team in 2013. She was with us firstly to complete her work experience, after she finished at college course in July 2014 she joined the team full time.
Elisha is the make up queen of the salon and by far the chattiest therapist in the salon. She is a highly valued member of the team who sees the good in everyone and never has a bad word to say.
Qualifications
- National Diploma Level 1, 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy
- Trained in Manicures, pedicures, gel application, tanning, facials using Spa Find and Skinician waxing
- Trained in eyelash and eyebrow tinting, application of individual eyelashes, massage, hot stones massage, threading, body treatments, ear piercing and Indian head massage
- Trained in art and design nail art with iBD Just Gel polishes.
Georgie
“The Mummy who’s always looking out for the team”
Georgie has worked at Alley cats now since 2002. She joined whilst still at college and completed her work experience with us. She’s worked hard to become salon manager in November 2016. In 2021 Georgie took over Alley Cats and is now the new owner.
She enjoys all aspects of the job and gets on well with the team, especially looking after them all!
